Voltage Flow is an artist residency which equips artists of all disciplines with custom modular synthesizers. These synthesizers are put together in collaboration with the artist to creative a one of a kind instrument to use for a pre-determined amount of time. Each artist is given an extensive lesson about their synthesizer, complete with technical support and creative ideas.

Modular synthesizers are a unique and deeply personal form of artistic expression. Despite their ongoing popularity, they remain out of reach for many working artists, due in part to gatekeeping, up-front cost, and technical barriers. Voltage Flow is committed to bending these barriers in ways that allow local artists the freedom to explore the joys of modular synthesis sound creation & exploration.
